Drafting visual mockups for Power Technologies®’ mobile device management products; enhancing brand awareness and product appeal, based out of Temecula, CA.
The brief.
Power Technologies® specializes in secure and reliable mobile device management and charging solutions for the education, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
To enhance brand awareness and modernize its current product line, Power Technologies® planned to introduce new features and color scheme across its existing product range. The objective was to create visual mockups that would demonstrate how these updates could revitalize the brand's image and appeal to a broader audience.
The design solution.
As the lead designer, I developed a series of high-fidelity visual mockups showcasing the proposed features and color variations for Power Technologies®' main charging carts and cabinets. These mockups emphasized contemporary design elements and a cohesive color palette to align with current market trends as well as their brand.
Utilizing Adobe Photoshop, I crafted detailed renderings that highlighted the enhanced aesthetics and functionality of the products. These visuals served as a compelling tool for internal stakeholders to visualize the potential impact of the updates on brand perception and customer engagement.
The result was a comprehensive set of visual assets that effectively communicated the benefits of the new features and color options, supporting Power Technologies®' initiative to strengthen brand identity and modernize its product offerings.
Product Mockup Details
There were a total of 5 products that needed to be mocked up (3 charging carts and 2 cabinets) with the requested features. Those features included the following items:
Safety bummers that were colorized in key areas to avoid damaging product
Padded (colorized) handle specifically for the charging carts
Colorized baskets/dividers (accessories)
Some sort of glass enclosure to allow seeing of devices within products
Product name label
Note: in order to present these mockups to stakeholders, a new PowerPoint template also needed to be created that would complement and enhance the visual elements. Taking elements from their current website and branding, resulted in a minimalist, modernized, yet professional-looking layout.
